GR IV 30th Anniversary Edition Kit announced, limited to 6,000 worldwide

The September 16 announcement details the commemorative camera and accessories, with an October 21 release planned.

Ricoh formally announced the GR IV 30th Anniversary Edition Kit on September 16, 2026. Limited to 6,000 worldwide, it is scheduled for October 21. Based on the GR IV, its button colors recall the original GR1, and it has an exclusive shutdown screen.[1]

The kit includes a GS-4 (30th) leather finger strap, GK-2 (30th) metal hot-shoe cover, preinstalled diamond-cut GN-3 (30th) ring cap and 16 badges. Japan’s separate-accessory list also includes the GK-1 (30th) for GR III/IIIx cameras; the GN-3 (30th) is not listed for separate sale.[1]

An October 15 update postponed only the separately sold historical-camera badges to November 13; the kit and other anniversary accessories retain their October 21 schedule.[2]
