Ricoh Imaging announced on October 15, 2026 that the separately sold GR-series 30th anniversary pin badges in Japan will move from October 21, 2026 to November 13, 2026. The change affects the 14-pin historical GR set and individual pins. The company cited various circumstances without giving a more specific explanation.[1]
The RICOH GR IV 30th Anniversary Edition Kit has not been delayed by this change. Ricoh explicitly says the camera kit, which includes pin badges, and the other limited 30th anniversary accessories will still go on sale on October 21, 2026.[1]
The two configurations are different. The separately sold set contains 14 historical GR pins; the camera kit contains 16, adding kit-exclusive 30th anniversary-logo and GR-logo pins to those 14. The two logo pins are not sold individually.[2]
Ricoh formally announced the anniversary kit on September 16, with a worldwide limit of 6,000 units. Based on the GR IV, it features specially colored body buttons and an exclusive shutdown screen. The kit also includes the GS-4 (30th) leather finger strap, GK-2 (30th) metal hot-shoe cover, GN-3 (30th) ring cap and pin-badge set.[2]
In Japan, the 14-pin set is offered through the Ricoh Imaging Store and GR SPACE TOKYO, while individual pins are sold at GR SPACE TOKYO. The accompanying official photograph shows the camera kit announced in September; its 16-pin configuration retains the original release date with the kit.[1][2]
