Ricoh confirmed development of the GR IVx on August 27, 2026, targeting winter 2026 or later with pricing undecided. Its newly designed 26.1mm F2.8 lens provides a 40mm-equivalent field of view and uses eight elements in six groups, including three aspherical elements.[1]
The official development specification table lists a 25.74MP APS-C CMOS sensor, five-axis sensor-shift stabilization, 4K at 30p/24p and approximately 53GB of internal memory. Weight with battery and memory card is approximately 265g. Ricoh notes that specifications may change.[1]
The notice also plans to end Japanese production of the GR IIIx, IIIx HDF and IIIx Urban Edition after October shipments, with overseas arrangements handled separately. No exact GR IVx release date is given, and the announcement contains no R10010 code.
