THETA X real-estate model to gain in-camera AI photo extraction
Ricoh’s September 28 announcement schedules the feature for mid-October for designated real-estate service customers.

On September 28, 2026, Ricoh announced in-camera AI photo extraction for the real-estate-specific THETA X, scheduled for mid-October. It is part of RICOH360 Business Package’s customer-attraction AI service for property businesses subscribing through LIFULL HOME’S.[1]
After a single 360-degree capture, the camera’s AI identifies spaces and fixtures, selects useful views, and adjusts the horizon and framing to generate several conventional photographs. Processing takes place inside the camera. The images can be used on property portals, company websites, social media and printed flyers.[1]
This expands an existing property service. The announcement introduces no new THETA X sensor or lens and gives no exact day for availability.
